Sweet Sami's School Days

Sami has been following in her big brother's footsteps, and loves school with Mrs. Stephanie and Mrs. Erin! I visit her throughout the day, and get to snap some cute pics of her hanging with her friends.

First, she has to get dressed and accessorized...
Some days are a little fancy

While others are a little more casual

But, everyday begins with a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with big bro

The fun times start as soon as we arrive at school. There is always a buggy ride, and some fun on the carpet with toys and friends. What a lucky girl!

Sami always gets the front seat :-)

Checking out her shoe/socks!

What's up, Mom?

The girls love playing outside!

Three of my favorite little sweet girls, Ruby, Sami, and Maylee

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day 2014 from my Love Bugs!

Matt came home from his business trip on Valentine's Day, and surprised Riley at his classroom party!

He was excited to see his Daddy, but too busy to focus on it too much because he was collecting all sorts of treats in his shoebox!

Then it was time to decorate his cookie... he was very precise with the sprinkles!

As Riley would say, "NUM..."

Sami was excited to see Daddy after a week away too!

Riley's best friend in the entire world is Miss Sophia Johnson. His eyes lit up when he met her when he was 3 months old at Bright Horizons, and they still light up every time she walks into a room. He gave her some pretty carnations for Valentine's Day, and her Mom informed me that Riley is her "Valentine".

Hugs, kisses, and "love yous" are the norm with these two... eek!

How adorable... Happy Valentine's Day from these two love birds!

Love our keepsake!

While Daddy's Away...

Matt had to go on a week long business trip the day after Riley's birthday, so we had some fun mommy-kid time while he was away!

We went to get Riley's haircut, and the only car with a working pedal was the pink mustang with ORANGE seats! Daddy wasn't in town, so we just went with it!

Even though it was snowing/freezing rain at the time, we had to celebrate a successful haircut with some fruit topped frozen yogurt.

This little lady was all smiles too!

Later in the week, we were missing Daddy and decided to head to Gigi and Grandpa's for dinner and fun Valentine's crafts!  We had a great time, and I appreciated the extra sets of hands.

We were so happy to have Daddy home on Friday... just in time for some Valentine's Day fun. Stay tuned!

The Big 3 Bonanza!

If you ask Riley how old he is, he will hold up three fingers and yell THREE!! However, I am still in denial that this is the case! We had to celebrate the occasion with a Jump Zone party (his favorite place on earth) with 27 of his closest friends.  That's right, 27! Almost his entire class was able to come, and we were so happy that his friends outside of school were available too...  it.was.awesome!! He jumped, ate pizza, ate cupcakes, and walked away with a car full of super cool gifts!

Cutest invitation inspired by Bob the Builder

We HAD to have orange cupcakes because it's Riley's all time favorite color!

Sami was SO good during the party. She had the best seat in the house!

She just bounced from arm to arm!

I thought the party room looked great!

This was a big feat, but we got the majority of the kids to sit on the batman inflatable slide... now, all looking in one direction is another story.

It was so sweet of Riley's teacher Ms. Jackye to come to his party!

We actually got a family picture too!

He blew out all three candles in one single blow. It was pretty special that he got to sit next to his idol, Jackson (and Matthew too!)!

I think this smile says it all!

Riley got a cool shave kit from the Glasco's. He had to try it out right away!

He also got this adorable fireman costume from the Loeffler's. He can dress just like Fireman Sam!

Aunty LaLa went all out, and got him and ORANGE bike!! We can't wait for the weather to warm up so that he can practice outside.

Uncle Johnny stopped by on his way to work on Monday, Riley's actual birthday.  It's always a special treat with Uncle Johnny (and his big truck!) stop by!

Matt and I took the day off to do something special with Riley, but I ended up with a stomach virus and stayed in bed the majority of the day. Poor Matt caught it that evening, so Riley had one more orange cupcake by himself that evening!

Happy birthday big boy!!

P.S. He also got a big stamp of approval from Dr. Thai during his 3 year checkup. He answered all of his questions, jumped up high, ran across the room, and when asked his name he answered "Riley Thomas Weismann".  He is still tall and thin... just like Daddy! The best part of the appointment was there were no shots! YEA!

Playing with my big bro

The other night we had a break through! Riley and Sami played together for quite some time. Sami absolutely adores her big brother. He is so sweet with her, and loved showing her how to play with the different toys on her Exersaucer.

She is just stared at him and listened to every word he was saying. So dang cute!

Riley's Special Weekend at Gigi and Grandpa's!

Gigi and Grandpa recently redid "Riley's room" at their house, and it's now fully equip with new bunk beds! Riley has been dying to sleep in his new room, so we took advantage of the situation and scheduled a date night! Sami and Riley played while Matt and I enjoyed an incredible dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Roy's, and then we picked up Sami and let Riley have a slumber party at his grandparents house! He has been asking for "another special weekend at Gigi and Grandpa's house" all week.  What fun!

An absolutely perfect dinner with my Love, and our favorite dessert... Roy's chocolate souffle!

Riley woke up to a yummy breakfast of fresh fruit and a smoothie. GiGi even strategically placed his iPad on a stand so that he could watch his new favorite show, Fireman Sam!

Reading books with his GiGi.

How cute is this picture? Riley waiting for Mommy and Daddy to pick him up. We all headed over to LePeep's for brunch. Sweet boy.

We ended the weekend with the Super Bowl and some R&R.
Sami couldn't hang very long, but I didn't mind snuggling with her. :)

Riley and Daddy remained busy as usual. They love vacuuming the house together.  Again, I don't mind!

Riley couldn't help himself when he heard Bruno Mars's halftime show. He grabbed his guitar and jammed along with him!
