Zoom Zoom!

Riley just beams with smiles and laughter whenever Aunty Lib pays him a visit. She is SO much fun... I am not sure who has more fun playing with Riley's toys, him or her?

What I did at school in January...

Hi Mom!

Finger Painting....

 Stacked my cups

Double bowls on my head!

Read some stories

Ate and drank like a big boy!

Eating table foods. This is a bit of a challenge lately with Mr. Opinionated, but he sure does love his fruit!

No hands with the sippy cup... the new trick! So talented!

Fig newtons are another "favorite food"...

As soon as I perfect the eating, drinking from a cup, and walking I'll be moving to the toddler room!! My girlfriends, Jamie & Sophia, moved this week.  I am VERY excited about this because I feel somewhat like a bull in a china shop around the new babies in my room. My Mama gets scared when I bulldoze the babies on my way to my toys!

I had a great January at school and am learning so many new & fun things! I love school!!

Climbing

One of the new favorite past times in our household is climbing the stairs.  Due to this new activity, we now have baby gates at the top and bottom of the staircase.  Climbing the stairs has lead to climbing on the table at daycare, climbing bookshelves, climbing on toy boxes... you get the idea!

Caught ya!

Success!

Weeeee!

We took Riley to swing at the playground near our house on New Years Day.
Do you think he was a fan??

Long Time No See!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately... it was a very busy end of December and New Year for us, and I'm just now getting my act together!

December In Summary...
We had a FUN Christmas this year, as it was Riley's first. Riley was so good during Christmas Eve mass with my family, and did a great job behaving himself at Roy's for dinner. He did have his peas and ravioli all over the nice white table cloth, but oh well!

Merry Christmas from the Quincey's & Weismann's!

Studs

Riley at Roy's - he loves his aunt and momma - clearly!

Peace Man

Two more studs

Then it was Christmas morning. Santa was VERY good to Riley!! He loved all of his gifts. Pretty much everything has some sort of light or sound, so it was a bit overwheleming. I'm considering removing the batteries from the one that sings "1-2-3, everybody count with me!" .... it haunts me! HA :)

Riding around in my brand new wagon from the Schrauth family - one of my favorite toys in the whole wide world! (and no batteries required - yay!)

More wagon fun

Let me just take a quick peek out the dog door before we leave the house....

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's house! Riley got spoiled AGAIN with MORE toys!! (They were very good to Matt and me too!)  What a fun day!!

Vroom Vroom, Lightening McQueen!

Riley sandwich! Thrilled.

The following day, we were lucky enough to have our cousin Tyler in town from California.  It was his 16th birthday, so we had a birthday bash for him!

THEN, we were thrilled to have Nana and Pop Pop in town for a visit between Christmas and New Years! We had a great time visiting and catchin up with both of them.

We exchanged gifts ... I think Riley had the most fun with the cardboard box!

Matt got a cool new tool-bit set from his parents!

And they know me too well, and got me a back massager from Brookstone!

This is the new "excited" face that Riley makes. He sat and watched trains with Pop Pop. They both love trains!

Then, they were back to playing first thing in the morning. It's so nice that Pop Pop has two hands, one to pet the dogs and the other to play with Riley!

Riley also got some quick lap time with Nana.  She understood that it would be short lived based on his activity level!

And, he's off!

Riley and Pop Pop were so silly, and made bubbling noises with their lips. We should have taken a video of this, too funny!

A visit with Jerry isn't complete without a fresh apple pie. Here he is, enjoying every last bite! He was nice enough to buy me an apple peeler/slicer/corer while he was visiting - it may be his way of asking for another apple pie for the next visit? :)

Merry Christmas to all, and a Happy New Year!!
