Happy Easter!

The Weismann Family had a FUN FILLED Easter Weekend!

We started the festivities on Good Friday with an Easter Egg hunt and cookie decorating party at Riley's school.

Bright and early on Saturday we headed to our neighbor's house for another Easter egg hunt.  Both kids were in their shades and ready to go!

Riley found LOTS of eggs, and was grinning from ear to ear the entire time.

Mrs. Daphne hosted the hunt for her Grandkids, and was nice enough to include Riley. Such cute kiddos.

She even had lunch for the kids after the hunt, and Riley got the best seat in the house!

We headed home for naptime, and Riley woke up just in time to die his eggs outside! A 3 year old and patience do NOT go hand in hand... so all of the eggs got stacked in the cups at the same time.

He took a quick break for some sweet watermelon while the egg colors were setting.

He couldn't resist tasting one of his hard boiled eggs. Eggs and watermelon made for a delicious after nap snack!

Then it was time to put the kid to work! Daddy worked all day long laying pavers and fixing sprinkler heads, so Riley was thrilled to help with the finishing touches.

Our clean up crew was pretty serious about his job.

That night was a treat for me! I attended the Beauty and the Beast Broadway show with Lib, Mom and Dad. Lib and I loved the Disney movie when we were kids, so we had a a great time. (Note the photo bomber!)

Thanks for a fun night at the show, Mom and Dad!

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Saturday night, so the kids woke up to special baskets on Sunday morning!

Riley had to peek around the corner to see if the Easter Bunny did, in fact, come to our house!

Sure enough! He did!

He even left Easter eggs hidden, and Riley went for Easter egg hunt #3 of the weekend!

He's a pro by now, and had a few treats before mass.

We got all cleaned up and headed to Easter mass with the fam! These three ladies looked exceptionally beautiful.

And this dude was as dapper as ever

We even snapped a rare family photo!

My sweet girl wasn't as smiley as she normally is because unbeknownst to us, she was battling a double ear infection! She is back to her sweet self now. :) However, she was looking adorable in her dress and matching flip flops.

We quickly changed out of the church clothes and started relaxing by the pool!

We had an egg hunt (#4!), hut tubbed, swam, ate way too much, and had a great day!

Happy Easter!!

Big Girl

Our Big Girl is growing up before our eyes!

She sits up and poses for photographs!

She took her first ride in the Kroger cart last weekend... she is pretty proud of herself!

She loves hanging with her girlfriends at school. Say "cheese" girls!!

Boys will be boys!

Riley is a pretty rough and tough guy, and we knew that it wouldn't be long before we found our way to the ER for xrays... well that day finally came! He hurt his ankle jumping off who-knows-what, but it didn't slow him down. He just galloped around for a few days, and then the gallop slowly turned into more of a major limp.  Then, one night before bathtime he was hobbling around and his leg completely gave out and he screamed in pain... that's when we decided it was time to get it examined.  Luckily, the xrays came back without any signs of a break, and he was free to hobble around on his sprained ankle until it healed.

We also got instructions to "relax" and "elevate" and "ice"... but those items are easier said than done.

We found that 25 band-aids did the trick.

I am happy to report that the limping has stopped, and we are now back to running & jumping. :)

Sibling Love

Riley and Samantha are really best buds these days.  Riley loves spending time with his baby sister, and her face absolutely lights up the second she sees her big brother.

The other day on the way to school Riley insisted on holding Sami's hand in the car

It was so sweet that I had to snap a few pictures

Riley still loves holding his "baby" ... although she is catching up to him in size!

She listens to every word out of his mouth, and just adores him. How long will this last?? :)

Happy belated 30th to Aunty Ky!

My good friend Kylie came to Texas to surprise me for my 30th birthday, so the plan was for me to attend her 30th birthday shindig last summer... well, that was until I was 7 months pregnant!  Fast forward 9 months, and we had her to Texas to celebrate! We went to lunch, went to the spa, and spent lots of time chatting and catching up. We never skip a beat, and I miss her already!

Sami loved Aunty Ky off the bat, and Toby didn't really leave her side either

Riley loves Aunty Ky (a.k.a. "that other girl), and they giggled through bathtime!

You can't celebrate a birthday, albeit 9 months late, without a cake and candles! She was very surprised!

Spring Showers Bring... Hail!

We had quite the spring storm last Thursday, and as soon as the weather got extra nasty the boys ran outside rather than into the closet! I think it's in their genes! They loved checking out the large "heeeil" (as Riley would say), and watching the wind whip around.  Meanwhile, I stayed inside and Sami slept through the entire thing! (Notice the neighbors nice Jag parked out front... luckily, our cars were safe in the garage!)

Shrine Circus 2014

We made our annual trip to the Shrine Circus last weekend, and it did not disappoint! Riley rode an elephant (with Matt, since he was not keen on going alone), bounced in the bounce house, ate corn dogs, and enjoyed the spectacular show! We went with some friends, and he loved having a side kick to run around with.

Riley and his buddy Cade getting ready for the show to start!  Both of the baby sisters were SO good for the show too!

The littlest one loved all of the bright lights and music!

6 Months

Our sweet Samantha Rose is 6 months old! Half of a year has absolutely flown with this little one, and she continues to brighten our days!  Right now, she loves rolling around the room, sitting in a "tripod" position, eating rice cereal with fruits and veggies, and she thinks her big brother is absolutely hilarious! Her face lights up the second he walks into a room, and she constantly giggles and smiles at him.  She is a pretty good sleeper, and a laid back go-with-the-flow little girl. We love you, sweet 6 month old girl!!
