April 2015

We started out the month of April with a visit from Nana and Pop Pop for Easter! We took them to the Coop, dyed Easter eggs, and celebrated Easter at church and then GiGi and Grandpa's house.

Pop Pop climbed in the balls just like Grandpa did at Riley's birthday party. Silly Pop Pop!

Sami and Nana had fun at the Coop

We got to see Ms. Jackye too! Bonus!

Sami Rose already has her Pop Pop wrapped around her finger.

Holding hands :)

We had beautiful weather while they were in town!

LaLa and Jordan gave Sami a Minnie Mouse costume for Easter, and she wore it all day!

I think she has her Grandpa wrapped around her finger too

She made herself comfortable on Uncle Zack's lap!

This is a little backwards, but this was the morning display from the Easter Bunny. Lucky kids!

This is one of my favorite pictures. Sweet brother and sister before Easter mass

We had a great visit with Nana and Pop Pop, and were excited that it would only be two months till we were going to see them again at Disney World!

Here are a few photos to wrap up the month of April.

Working on manners, no feet on the table. :)

Bouncing!

LaLa bounced too

Baby sister watched the action from the side lines

Sami turned 18 months as well. She got a great report from the pediatrician, and we love our new doctor!

This sassy girl is talking up a storm (she literally repeats every word we say), and idolizes her big brother.  She has a pretty strong opinion about everything ALREADY, but I say that goes to show she is a strong woman. :)

We finished the month with the annual Primrose Spring Fling. It was a gorgeous day, and we all had fun dancing, playing, and both kids rode the pony.

Stay tuned for May!!

March 2015

March consisted of some snowy weather and a pretty sick Sami.  After several trips to urgent care, firing the pediatrician, finding a new doctor, and lots of TLC she is good as new!

When we woke up to this much snow we decided we had to go out to play!

Off to the fields!

Riley had a ball!

Baby girl, on the other hand, wasn't a fan of being cold and wet

Snug as a bug

Another fun way to warm up, Mommy's hair dryer!

When the weather warmed up we got the kids a bounce house for the backyard. A great way to burn off energy while Mommy and Daddy visit on the patio. :)

This cowboy's school picture turned out really cute, if I do say so myself

Primrose does a "Spring Bonnet Parade" each year to ring in the first day of Spring. Riley and his BFF Sophia were oh so cute in their homemade bonnets.

Here is our sick little princess. She was extra cuddly when she was sick, which I didn't mind.

GiGi was a HUGE help during these "rough" days. She took care of her on and off so that I could go to work for a few hours.  We celebrated when she finally ate and drank, and so did Sophie the dog!

Springtime also means it's time to break out the mowers! The boys got to work as soon as the weather allowed. Riley follows right behind his Daddy.

Meanwhile, his sister and I enjoyed just soaking in the warm rays

And, cooling down with the hose

We even got a night out with our neighbors in March. Hooray for GiGi and Grandpa babysitting!

The Quincey fam celebrates St. Patrick's Day each year with corned beef and cabbage. It was a beautiful day, and we all enjoyed the delicious food and warm weather.

Jordan, Libby's boyfriend, played baseball with Riley. He's a keeper!

I don't think the kinetic sand was meant to be a sandbox. Oh well!

Jordan also played piano with Sami. Did I mention he's a keeper?

Now it's time to gear up for April! Easter and a visit from Nana and Pop Pop up ahead next month!

February 2015

February was a big month for our family, mainly because the big boy turned 4!  Riley's classmates and the Hay's family were able to join us for a ninja turtle themed bash at the Coop. It's an awesome indoor party space that we rented out, and everyone had a great time!

The ball pit was a hit

The Hay's kids Aunt Lyndsie makes the most amazing cookies, so she made these cookie favors!

The cake and cookie favors turned out really well!

The kids AND parents had a good time! :)

Our two monkeys got to check out the fun before the party started. They approved!

Ms. Jackye, Riley's fav teacher, joined us for the party! Ironically, she started managing the Coop shortly after the party!

Even Grandpa got in on the ball pit action

He's pretty intense about blowing out those candles!

Goofy kids!

4 years old!

Baby sis enjoyed the party just about as much as her big brother

Love the masks, guys!

He got some pretty nice things. He's one lucky kid!

We had a "family" party on his actual birthday with more cake!

Riley also got lots of nice presents from his family members, near and far!

Matt and I also took shooting lessons at the new Frisco Gun Club in February. It was part of his Christmas present, so I didn't chicken out and shot every single gun!

The following day I flew to St. Louis with my mom and sis for my cousin's bridal shower. We flew back home that evening, so although it was a quick trip we enjoyed some girl time with my Aunts, cousins, and Grandma!

We had pretty wacky weather in February. It was in the 80's some days, and then snowed the next.

These two are such good friends. I love watching them grow up together.

Happy Valentine's Day.... grilled cheese to celebrate!

The Hay's family gave Riley chalk paint for his birthday. We tried it out, and had a ball.

Little Miss enjoying some warmer weather before the snow hit

Sweet Sami is a bit of a dare devil. She CLIMBS EVERYTHING! I turn around and she is dancing on tables... already!

Beep Beep! Pretending it's warm outside!

Kids in a box!

Here's the snow I told you about! More to come in March!
