We flew right through June! Where has the time gone, and how is our little lady already 9 months old??? Here is a little update before we plunge into July!
Sami Rose continues to love going to school, playing with her friends, and learning new things everyday.
One of her favorite things to do is ride in the buggy.
She also likes climbing in and out of the "pool"
You talking to me, Mom?
This girl also LOVES food! She feeds herself really well, and tries anything. She is also doing really well with her sippy cup (I appreciate this part especially!)!
She also loves participating in all of the sensory activities in the classroom.
She made a collage...
Painted with colored ice cubes...
...most of which ended up in her mouth
Felt the squishy jello...
Played with playdoh...
And especially enjoys crawling through the mirrored tunnel
Unfortunately, the sweet girl has been battling recurring ear infections, so we consulted an ENT and decided to do the ear tube surgery last week. We are hoping that the tubes will be the cure for all of the nasty infections!
After we got home from the tubes surgery I took this picture of Sami having snack...
...although, don't let the picture fool you because she had more moments like this until the anesthesia wore off! HA! She is back to her sweet self now.
We celebrated Matt this month with Father's Day and his birthday! We hope he knows how lucky we feel to have such an amazing Dad and Husband in our lives!
Riley had a special "donuts for Dad" celebration at school for Father's Day. The first picture was taken before they ate their sugary treats.
This picture was taken when their plates were cleaned! Sugar high!
We spent Father's Day morning at the Lone Star Ranch pool. I packed a picnic lunch and we ate and swam on the beautiful day!
Then, we celebrated Matt's birthday last Friday... the big 3-3!!
We ate smash burgers and, per Matt's request, got donuts for dessert.
We got him a new hammock and some cologne, and he couldn't wait to try out his new toy!
He looks so relaxed, and Riley quickly obliged to rocking him.
Riley has been doing well in school too! He even wrote his name without having to trace it this month. Hooray Big Boy!
We tried to keep cool by the pool this month, and I'm sure there will be more fun in the sun this month. We had a busy June... more to come in July!! Happy Summer!
