Our neighborhood had it's annual Fall Festival this weekend, and we were all excited for the occasion. We lucked out with a gorgeous day, and walked to the park where the held the function. There was a petting zoo, fire truck, games, food, and ducks swimming in the pond. What more could a guy ask for?!
Riley got all ready for the festival.. our little chick!
C'mon Mom... let me take my headpiece off for the time being (we couldn't zip him all the way either because he's already too long for the costume!)
First stop, petting zoo. Riley didn't know what to think of the chickens (we had to remind him, that he's one of them!).
This was right before he starting crying.. no idea why! Those chickens are scary!
Luckily, Lauren arrived just in time to cheer him up!
And, so did Mrs. Melinda!
Hangin' with my Daddy
We decided to step away from the festivities for a few minutes to check out the ducks. Now you're talkin'!
Riley's friend Gavin arrived just in time for a few snapshots. He was born 3 months before Riley, and lives 2 houses down from us. They are going to be great friends one day! They are clearly thrilled!
Just chillin next to the llama!
We couldn't end the night without a few pictures of our Halloween decorations. Funny story- Matt went all out with outdoor decorations this year, and the night that he got them all arranged was the night of a huuuuge storm! Neighbors were calling us the next day to let us know that our gravestones were on their porch, and the rest were gone for good. Attempt #2 - after a trip to Home Depot for extra stakes, Matt got the remaining decorations secured... just in time for another major storm! Here are the remaining decorations...
