Disney World 2015 ~ Part 1

Nana and Pop Pop took the entire Weismann/Yates/Schrauth family on a trip of a lifetime to Disney World this summer.  We had a week full of incredible character meals (thanks to Aunt Kerry, our "cruise director"), theme parks, and family time.  It was a trip that the kids will remember forever!

The first night was spent at a super cool dinner at the TREX dinosaur restaurant in downtown Disney. It was a gorgeous night, and the kids loved spending quality time with their cousins Corey and Laney.

Our sweet travel companions. Sister is drinking pedialite because she wasn't feeling well, so she was a little less "sweet" during our travels.

Riley did a great job handling his own "luggage"

The TREX restaurant was seriously awesome. There were huge dinosaurs everywhere, and every 15 minutes they came to life and put on a great show!

We thought it was so cool that cousin Corey and Riley wore matching superman shirts! Riley and Sami just love hanging with their older cousins!

There was a Lego store in Downtown Disney. Look at these Buzz and Woody sculptures - ALL LEGOS!

After some dancing and an ice cream cone we headed back to the condo to rest up for the Magic Kingdom the following day.

We headed to the Magic Kingdom bright and early, and took the ferry to the park.  We had a fun (and toasty) day, which concluded with dinner in Cinderella's castle.

Our condo had a really nice screened in patio, which Riley enjoyed in the mornings... and the adults enjoyed with a glass of wine in the evenings.

On our ferry ride to the Magic Kingdom

We reunited with the Yates family, Nana and Pop Pop, and Shannon (Becky's childhood friend) for our first day in the park.  Here is Nana and Pop Pop with all of their grandkids!

Our family at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Sami didn't really mind her leash

She was all smiles on the Dumbo ride with Mommy :)

The boys rode in the Dumbo behind us

The boys braved the tea cups too

They did a really neat mid-day show at the castle.

At this point, we were due for some A/C and had a great time on the Buzz Light Year ride.

Riley and Pop Pop went for a ride in the race cars, and RILEY got to DRIVE!

We got the opportunity to meet Cinderella before our dinner in the Royal Castle.

Sami Rose wasn't as thrilled with the opportunity

... and down she goes

We met lots of princesses during dinner, and the kids all got autographs!

At this point, Sami was sending us a message that she wanted to run wild!

I read you, Sister.. loud and clear!

A gorgeous rainbow came out as we left the park. A great day with family at the Magic Kingdom. Next up, Hollywood Studios!

We went to the Frozen "Let It Go" show at Hollywood Studios. We enjoyed the air conditioning, music, and especially the snow that fell at the end of the performance!

Our kids were wiped after lunch at Pizza Planet, so we made the executive decision to head back to the condo and go for a swim.  This decision was a hit!

Swimming for the kiddos, and cold beverages for the adults!

Mommy and my Big Boy

We rested up that evening in preparation for a full day at Animal Kingdom the next day!
