Name... check! Godparents...check!

The pregnancy with our little lady is absolutely flying by! It's hard to believe in just a few short weeks we'll be in the home stretch in the 3rd trimester.  We've decided it's time we get on the ball and name our little girl, ask a few special people to be her godparents, and then it'll be time to tackle the nursery.

First and foremost, her name is Samantha "Sami" Rose Weismann.
We both loved the name Samantha, and I've like it since childhood when my favorite American Girl doll was named Samantha. My sister Libby's middle name is Rose, and she was named after my Great Grandma Quincey. We thought these two names were the perfect combination for our daughter.  For some reason, Riley has always called his baby sister "Reese", and has recently told us that he wants her middle name to be Sophia (his favorite friend at school).  We'll have to start using her name more often so that isn't still calling her Reese Sophia when she is born. :)

Miss Sami will also have two very special Godparents.  Matt's sister Becky is her Godmother.  Becky has remained close with both Matt and me despite the distance between us as her family lives in Utah and we live in Texas.  We know there will be many more fun times ahead with Aunt B, Uncle John, and cousins Sarah & Lauren!

Matt's best friend, Sean, will be her Godfather.  Sean always makes time in his schedule to pay us visits in Texas, and it doesn't hurt that he lives on the beach when we find the time to get the Florida!  He's one of Riley's favorite people, and we know he'll be one of Samantha's favorites too.

I finally took a few pictures of my growing belly today (a little over 25 weeks).  Riley loves giving his baby sister kisses, so he just happen to kiss my belly while I was trying to take a pic. Such a sweet big brother already!
