Duck, NC ~ Beach Trip (Part 2)

We continued the week with more beautiful beach weather. 

Two happy campers on the beach = two happy parents!

...and Grandparents!

Mrs. Wollack's potato salad bowl was Sami's seat of choice all week. She had me running back and forth from the ocean with pails of water for her to soak in.  She squeezed her body in that bowl every day!

Gigi and Grandpa went out on a date to our favorite restaurant in Duck, The Roadside.



The following night, we got to go on a date and of course chose the same delicious restaurant.

Meanwhile, this cool dude and his sister were keeping Gigi, Grandpa, and LaLa busy back at the beach house!

We woke up the following day, had coffee on the patio, and headed to the pier.

We had fun exploring the pier area.

We got to see a fisherman throw a net into the surf and came out with a huge bucket full of fish!


Riley wanted to see the fish, but was a little cautious.

Sami's second favorite thing next to the potato salad bowl was the wooden boat under the end table. 

My family was nice enough to humor me with beach pictures on the last night. We plan to use them for our Christmas card (look at me, ahead of the game for once!!), so I will wait to post them. :)

What a wonderful week. One that we will not soon forget!
